Many years ago, I was sitting on a chaise lounge in my backyard, working through a study on Hebrews. When I came to Hebrews 4:12–13, something happened that changed me.

The passage says that everything is uncovered and laid bare before Him to whom we must give account. As I sat there, I suddenly realized that God saw everything about me, every thought, every fear, every failure, every hidden place.

But instead of feeling condemned, I felt known.

And instead of feeling exposed, I felt loved.

In that moment, I encountered A heart like no other. A love so deep, so personal, and so unwavering that it changed the way I saw God forever.

Since then, my journey has been one of growing deeper in that love and learning to walk more closely with Him. Along the way, I've taught Bible studies, led ministries, written books, and shared with others about the beauty, goodness, and love of the Lord.
